Wellness Core Ocean is a line of dog food from Wellness pet foods that is meant to provide the utmost nutrition for your pet. The main reasons people do not feed their dog raw food is because of cost, lack of knowledge, and convenience. What Dogs Should Eat Wellness Core Ocean
Because of the ingredients used to make this dog food there are recommendations as to which dogs should eat it. The fish used in the dog food and other ingredients give it a very high protein count and for this reason it is not good for inactive dogs, and dogs under 1 years old.
Wellness Core Ocean Review
Here is a review that we found on dog food chat "I would rate it 9.5 stars.
I have two Cairns a wheaten (Charlie) and a brindle (Griffy). Charlie had skin rashes, hot spots, would pull his own fur out by the mouthfull. Trips to the vet and drugs weren’t helping. I started looking for better solutions and found that all grains rice, corn, etc. were a problem for dogs so we looked until we found Welness Core Ocean. Immediately his skin cleared up and he was back to being his old self. Charlie also has a sensitive stomach and throws up alot, but not with the Wellness Core Ocean. And as for Griffy, he was overwieght and has lost over 5 pounds so far! Both dogs eat it without hesitation, but they don’t gorge on it."
Review from my dog with allergies
I found that my dog was allergic to grain and other fillers that are common in the cheap brands of dog food. I switched to Wellness ocean core dog food and noticed less shedding, scratching, firmer stools, and a healthier looking coat, skin and eyes. This was a huge change that came just from switching dog foods! I wish I had switched earlier.
The Pros: My dog loves the taste and looks forward to eating, and obviously all of his allergy signs have decreased so that is great! The food helps control shedding and is very nutritional
The Cons: The only downside to the dog food is that it is more expensive then my last brand of food, but the dog food is so nutritious that my dog does not eat as much, so one bag lasts much longer than my last brand.
